Black hole

Moon eyed she goes

She is one of the stars

Lonesome she is

In the presence of Mars

Soon her reflection renews

She is a planetary part apart

Memories become brand-new

She is solo in this system

And as the lights dim

He becomes hers

She sucks us in

Until everything’s hers

Cosmos

Strength, by nature

Is not provided for our own benefit.

The stubborn may vie for what they desire,

The strongman may be able to move boulders,

But strength of character

moves entire mountains

and there is no room for boasting.

All substance, and no air.

Super clusters of Galaxies

Strung together by thin bands of space dust.

What I Am Today

It took me so many years to find myself, and I got lost along the way,
And now I don't know where I am or where I'm going,
But at least I know it doesn't matter.

I am not my knowledge
I am not my thoughts
I am not my body.

I am my words
I am my actions
I am my expressions.

I am the impact that I have.

THE MINE OF TRUTH

dirty and dark

hard to breathe

confused about time

feeling my way

suddenly a light        the mother lode      revealed at last      crystals of truth      I clawed them

My own discovery

the truth blinding

age behind me

the light stayed on.

A Noun in White Open Space

A noun all alone in the white open space is at risk,

if it doesn't know its own definition or purpose.

Without knowing its identity, this noun may search for a verb.

Once it finds this verb, it may begin to become active.

After it is active, it may come to dwell upon passive.

Should this be the case, it may call itself just a subordinate clause.

Still without the sense of cause, ...

Becoming Alice

I gaze into the rabbit hole. It does not gaze back. And still, I am ready to enter.

This mischevious risk urges my desire

To fall within and forget all that is prior

I comtemplate the life I've lived and all the choices I've choose

And what is next in my life and where will my path go

I relieve my grip and accept this new phenomenon

I fall through the hole and embrace the myster...
